I’ve had a bit of a hidden gem of a location in my back pocket for a long time now, probably 10 years or more. It’s close but quiet and thought it would make the perfect fall backdrop for Ashley. She’s a nature lover and I was pretty sure she’d be in her element for our shoot. One thing about portraiture that’s so true is that if someone’s comfortable they’re going to be more like themselves in front of the camera. We absolutely nailed the peak of the fall colors and it was a classic clear, chilly and vibrant day.
The walk in took about 10 minutes and all of sudden you feel like you’re in another place entirely. Our first stop was the featured image locale with the cabin; an easy call on where to start 🙂 Enjoy the images, we had a blast capturing! To see more of my work go to my portfolio page here
