The nuances of bringing an interior to its highest level are many, and mostly subtle. There are factors like proper perspectives, balanced lighting, composition and balance, proximity to the scene, lens choice and utilizing artificial lighting in a way that you can’t tell it’s being used. All those things come together to create an initial reaction from the viewer; if done properly the reaction is a strong one! I love working with so many elements and challenges, it keeps things fresh. I also really love working with great clients who are both skilled and know what they want. Such is the case with Portfolio Interiors, and specifically, Claire McMillan. She is fantastic at choosing pieces to showcase in a space, detailing, balance and color. So, together we were able to showcase this elegant home in the Aberdeen neighborhood of Kamloops. A beautiful layout and great light made it all that more enjoyable! Images below, cheers, Kelly
